Creating a lithology log

You use the Lithology log form (1D MODEL > Lithology > Tools > Lithology Log) to calculate and display a lithology log in your Zonation Model. The lithology log calculation is based on the gamma ray discriminators in the Zonation Model and updates (depending on your auto update settings) each time one of the discriminators is adjusted. If your lithology model is created with the Master Log Lithology tool, the lithology model is used as input.

To create a lithology log

  1. On the Lithology Log form, click (Re)Create to create the lithology log. The name of the created log is displayed in the Output lithology log field.
To change the default name of the created log, double click in the log field. The background turns blue, indicating you can edit the text. When done, click the green check mark to apply the changes.
  1. To add the created lithology log to the Zonation Model view, click Show.
  2. Click OK to close the form.
